As a beginner plant enthusiast who has just started growing plants, instead of expensive repotting supplies, I prepared everything using only budget-friendly items from Daiso. It was so simple because it only took 10 minutes. I’m going to share the process with you! [6 Daiso Products Used] These are products I purchased myself. Pesticide-free potting soil (for repotting) 6.5L - 1042227 / 5,000 won Horticultural Perlite 2.5L - 1059443 / 2,000 won -- A ratio of 2 parts potting soil to 1 part perlite is the perfect combination to prevent overwatering! Narrow plastic trowel - 64333 / 1,000 won -- Pro tip! The cylindrical trowel that was famous on Instagram has been discontinued. This is the replacement! Round pot mesh (25-pack) - 76982 / 1,000 won Plant nutrient granular fertilizer Magamo 130g - 1053440 / 2,000 won Long straw stainless steel watering can - 1024273 / 3,000 won Repotting preparations are complete for a total of 14,000 won! [Fail-proof Repotting Tips for Beginners] Place a mesh at the bottom of the terracotta pot and fill with soil. Fill 1/3 of the pot with a mixture of potting soil and perlite, then place the plant and fill the rest. Do not mix granular fertilizer into the soil; simply sprinkle a few granules on top. Finally, water thoroughly with a watering can until the water drains from the bottom! Thanks to the unique texture of the terracotta pot, my home feels warmer.
