#거실스타일링 It’s been a year since I moved in. I tried to keep it as minimal as possible, and this is the result of my efforts. Still, it has improved a lot. Rather than calling it "styling," I focused on making the overall tone warm. Perhaps because I have a cold body and get cold easily, I prefer a warm atmosphere over an interior that looks cold. If I had to pick the best thing I did, it would be changing the cover for the broadcast speaker in the apartment security office. Of course, the contractor replaced it during the full remodeling, but that was a white cover with a bluish tint. The one I replaced only cost a few thousand won, but I feel a bit regretful thinking how nice it would have been if they had set it up to match this tone. It feels like the interior was finally completed thanks to that single speaker cover. Interior design really is all about the finer details. Also, I tried clearing out all the plants, but the house felt so grim, like a prison, so I put them back. I was going to get rid of them because they didn't fit the concept of this house, but I guess having lush green plants really brings life to it. I want to replace them with the trendy plants these days, but I just can't seem to get rid of those guys. Still, they are plants I have cherished and raised for years... I'm struggling with plant-terior. If it were my usual style, I would fill the living room floor and walls with items, props, and furniture so there wouldn't be any empty space, but since I am trying to live a minimalist lifestyle, I am holding back. Living like this is indeed neat and clean. And it's easy to clean, too.
