As I added the appliances I wanted one by one—from a direct-drain robot vacuum to a built-in water purifier and a 14-place setting dishwasher—I ended up running out of space for smaller appliances like a microwave or air fryer. ㅠㅠ So, the space I utilized was the veranda next to the kitchen! Although it is a small space, I have divided it into three main zones based on their purpose. 🧺 The left side is the laundry zone. I placed the washing machine and dryer side by side to use as a laundry area. 🍳 The middle is a secondary kitchen and home café. Above is the microwave and coffee machine, and below are the food waste disposer and racks for frying pans and pots. I have also placed cutting boards and trays in every nook and cranny! ♻️ The right side is the recycling area and auxiliary space. I use the recycling area in conjunction with a storage cabinet. It is doing an excellent job of serving as a secondary kitchen! Thanks to the veranda, I was able to keep the main kitchen as tidy as possible without having to give up on necessary appliances and household items.🤍 I think that in small homes, it is more important to divide a single space for multiple purposes rather than trying to expand the space. If you are worried about having a small kitchen, try utilizing the veranda right next to it!!
