When I moved into this older apartment, my biggest concerns were the windows and the interior doors. Now that they are installed, I am so satisfied that I want to give my past self a big pat on the back! 🤍 I installed double-pane windows with clean white frames on the living room balcony side. They provide excellent insulation and soundproofing, effectively blocking out outside noise while keeping the house warm and cozy. With the chilly air that used to seep in through the gaps in the windows gone, time spent sitting in the living room has become much cozier. The unobstructed view also perfectly creates the effect of making the space look much wider and brighter. Next to the appliances, I installed a three-panel sliding interior door featuring frosted glass with attractive, subtle vertical grain. Not only does it thoroughly block drafts and dust from the entryway, but thanks to the glass that only softly reflects silhouettes, it beautifully protects my privacy without feeling stuffy. The simple white design blends perfectly with our home's signature warm wood and white interior, bringing a pleased smile to my face every time I look at it. It was a big decision I made, but I can definitely feel the quality of life at home skyrocketing, so I think to myself, "I really made the right choice."
