🌸 One Spring Day Long Ago, When Pansies Bloomed One spring day long ago, around the time pansies bloomed. I drew pansies on a black background and drew lace patterns around them, one by one. I remember holding my breath and drawing cautiously, afraid that even the slightest misstep with the brush tip might cause the lines to become messy. I poured my heart and soul into every single tiny dot. Perhaps that is why I find myself gazing at it for so long. It seems that the vintage atmosphere I love remains the same, even as time passes. While I enjoy bringing in new decorative items, I also love naturally placing things I made myself long ago in my home. As my tastes from back then meet my tastes now, it feels like another story is being created in a corner of my house. I want to tell the me from back then, who sat quietly drawing, "You really kept it well." Keeping what I love for a long time, and naturally adding it to my current home.
