When introducing every nook and cranny of my home, one thing that absolutely cannot be left out is lighting. I really love keeping the soft, warm incandescent light on—like the floor lamps, wall lights, and table lamps placed throughout the house—rather than the bright, dazzling main light. When the warmth of orange incandescent bulbs is added to the space, the entire house becomes much calmer and cozier, even without any special interior decor. Coming home from work, turning off the main light, and switching on the small lights placed in each room one by one is the greatest source of healing for me during the day. A cozy home atmosphere at night, quite different from the daytime.
