#현명한소비 #콘수프기록집 Two Silicone Kitchen Items I’ve Been Using Lately 🤍 While pretty design is important for kitchenware, I think the products you use frequently and find easy to maintain are the ones you end up using the longest. I’ve gathered two silicone kitchen items that I’ve been using a lot lately! 1. Pebble Silicone Steamer My household generally prefers neutral tones, and we mostly use white tableware to match. I happened to need an egg steamer, so while looking around, I found a design that looks clean even when placed directly on the dining table after cooking. Since it is charcoal-colored, I was initially worried it might stand out too much among the white tableware, but once I actually used it, it blended in naturally, which I really liked. It’s been about six months since I bought it, but it still looks as clean as new! There are no scratches on the silicone or stains on the lid, and the finish is clean without any rough edges, along with the soft texture characteristic of silicone. With the plastic and reinforced microwave steamers I used in the past, the outside would get so hot after cooking that I always had to place them on a trivet to avoid damaging the table. However, this product reduces that concern, so I use it directly on the table. I purchased three of them in different sizes, and I find them all very useful. I also like that they can be washed directly in the dishwasher. The only downside is that the drip tray is only available on the largest size! I think the small and medium sizes would have been even more versatile if they had drip trays as well. 2. Foldable Air Fryer Silicone Container Above all, I liked that the air fryer container is foldable, making it easy to store. It folds flat when not in use, so it doesn't take up much storage space. The color is also one that doesn't show food stains or dirt very easily, so I use it without worry. When unfolded, it has a decent height, which reduces oil or food splashing inside the air fryer while cooking. Thanks to this, the air fryer stays less messy, making cleanup much easier. The only downside is that it doesn't fold shut in one go. 😂 You have to fold it while adjusting the shape this way and that. Still... at least it folds, right? Haha. The biggest advantage is that it can drastically reduce the volume when not in use, so I'm using it well. Neither of them are fancy kitchen items, but they take up less space, are easy to maintain, and are practical!
