#투베이리모델링 #콘수프기록집 Our home is a two-bay structure, famous(?) for having a particularly odd kitchen layout even among older buildings. Although the kitchen is small, I had long dreamed of having an open-plan kitchen. I completed the project by making the most of the space and paying attention to storage details. And now, after living here for over a year, the conclusion is: I am extremely satisfied! At first, I wondered, "Won't there be too little storage in such a small kitchen?" But by creating storage spaces here and there and making efficient use of even the leftover corners, there is still plenty of storage space even with a family of three living here. Seeing how everything fits in this small space—from the robot vacuum and upper cabinet drying rack to the water filter, refrigerator, and dishwasher—I think I planned it quite efficiently, didn't I? 😂 If I had to pick three kitchen details that are easy to miss if not mentioned in advance during interior design, I would recommend these. 1. Upper Cabinet Drying Rack I didn't like having a drying rack sticking out, so I put it inside the upper cabinet, and I am extremely satisfied with the result. One of the first things I recommend whenever someone asks me about kitchen renovations! 2. Narrow Cabinet Above the Dishwasher Instead of just blocking off the space above the dishwasher, I created a small cabinet to store simple dishes and detergent. Since it is a space I use more often than I expected, I think I made the right decision to do it this way. 3. Robot Vacuum Cleaner Cabinet I highly recommend planning for a robot vacuum cleaner cabinet in advance. It is more difficult than you might think to build one after you have already moved in. I wanted to match the kitchen baseboard to 10cm, so I chose a robot vacuum cleaner capable of reaching a height of 10cm. Determining the model you will use before building the cabinet is actually a surprisingly important tip! Even in a small, older kitchen, if you plan meticulously from the start how to utilize the space, you can actually use it much more spaciously than you might expect.
