It’s already been over four months since I laid out the patterned coil mat on the veranda for our "vest vacation." I really agonized over choosing flooring when I first started decorating the veranda. 1) I passed on deco tiles because I was worried Kitchi might slip on them. 2) I didn't think I could handle the dog hair on rugs. 3) I was worried Kitchi might mistake artificial grass for a potty pad and pee on it. So, I ruled those products out as candidates. That’s why I chose the patterned coil mat. First off, it’s not slippery and doesn't bother Kitchi's paw pads, so I’m really satisfied with that aspect! However, after using it for four months, I have noticed some inconveniences. First is the dust trapping phenomenon... Since it traps dust between the coils rather than shaking it off easily, it is difficult to clean unless you vacuum it up powerfully. Another inconvenience is water cleaning and drying! You cannot water clean it while it is laid on the floor. You have to lift it all up to wash the floor. I haven't tried water cleaning the coil mat itself. I was worried that it wouldn't dry easily! I am very satisfied with it for preventing my dog from slipping and for interior decoration! I think I will continue to use this coil mat rather than other products! For those of you who installed it in the entryway or in places where dust accumulates, how do you use it?
