About five years ago, while visiting my in-laws, I stumbled upon my father-in-law's small, low-seated tea table. When I remarked that it was pretty, he told me he had made it himself. I marveled at it for quite a while, and eventually, I ended up taking it with me. Haha. It isn't perfectly straight or polished, but perhaps that is why the more I look at it, the more I grow fond of it. The rustic craftsmanship and the touch of his hands remaining here and there seem to become the unique story of this table. I really love the time I spend sitting quietly in front of it, doing nothing, and drinking a cup of tea. 🍵 An object that has been cherished for a long time, imbued with someone's touch.
