Did you know that fig skins contain allergens? I've never felt anything like that while eating figs until now... but this year, I thought my tongue was stinging a bit... To think that was an allergic reaction... haha. So from now on, I'm going to peel them before eating... but for now, I'll stop here :) I love figs so much that I eat them plain, in sandwiches, and even with Greek yogurt!!
