DIY painting the cherry molding I'd been putting off for so long!! I finally painted the living room ceiling molding. I thought I was going to die waiting for it to finish, haha. (I had piled up a bunch of laundry on the sofa to fold, and suddenly thought I should take a picture, so I snapped a shot lol.) It might have lost some of its character, but visually, the living room looks much wider now, and it feels so refreshing. Since we moved to a house with a small kitchen, there wasn't really a suitable place to put the 2-meter dining table. So I put it in the living room, and it is proving useful for the kids' daily study sessions and occasional home parties. (It happened to be my eldest's birthday, so please overlook the kids' serious expressions while they were eating, haha.)
