I usually don't like using diffusers or regular air fresheners. It seems like trying to cover up a bad scent with something only makes it smell even worse. I'm the type who thinks, "If I'm going to use an air freshener, I might as well clean more thoroughly." However, perhaps because it rained more this summer than usual, no matter how hard I cleaned or how often I washed the curtains, a strangely musty smell wouldn't go away as soon as I entered the house. Since Weep is marketed as a "deodorizer" that completely eliminates bad odors rather than just masking them with scent, I honestly tried it at first without high expectations, thinking I had nothing to lose. But it really is different! The musty, damp smell has completely vanished. I placed it gently under the shoe cabinet in the entryway, and it feels so fresh when I come home. Now that I no longer worry about odors when inviting guests over, it is so convenient and I love it. If you place it under the sink or on the bathroom shelf, it completely eliminates household odors. They say it deodorizes 99.99% in just 30 minutes simply by leaving the lid open. I use it in a way that is convenient for me—leaving it open when I use it and then closing it for a while—and I am very satisfied. I think I will use this frequently as a household essential from now on.
