It is inconvenient to constantly worry about spilling water or drinks even after laying out a beautiful rug, but being able to wipe up simple spills immediately put my mind at ease. Of course, just because it is water-resistant doesn't mean you should leave stains on it for a long time, so it is best to wipe it up immediately if you spill anything. Still, I definitely liked the fact that it reduces the burden of small mistakes that can happen in everyday life 👍🏻 The texture is generally soft and cozy ☁️ It doesn't feel too rough when stepped on barefoot, so I'm using it comfortably in the living room. Since there is a rug, it definitely feels cozier than sitting directly on the floor. Especially if you tend to go barefoot at home, this kind of texture is actually quite important 🤎 However, if you are expecting a very fluffy, thick rug, it might feel a little different from what you imagined. It seems to be a better fit for those looking for a product that is comfortable for daily use, rather than a rug that is too thick and heavy, like me. For maintenance, I usually lightly remove dust with a vacuum cleaner, and wipe it immediately if it gets dirty. Since it has a water-resistant feature, it is a bit easier to deal with spills like drinks. Still, since a rug is a product that is kept on the floor, I think it is a good idea to lift it up occasionally to clean the floor underneath. Also, regarding the unique smell that might be noticeable depending on whether it is used for the first time or the condition of the packaging, I think it might vary from person to person. Initially, I chose this simply because I wanted to change the atmosphere of my home, but after actually laying it down, I was more satisfied than I expected. I particularly liked the argyle pattern because it wasn't too flashy yet created a subtle accent in the space, and thanks to its soft texture, I was able to use it comfortably in the living room. The water-resistant feature was also quite useful in real life.
