6 Reasons Why We Discarded Our Expensive Running Tower and Settled on a Step Stool! Honestly, the running tower was much bigger than I expected, and even though it was foldable, it was a hassle to take it out and move it every time. So, in the end, our home settled on the Dawon Montessori Step Stool. I’ll summarize the points I liked after using it myself! 1️⃣ Size That Doesn't Need to Be Folded It’s a size that isn't a burden to leave out when not in use, so you can use it immediately when needed, and since it’s solid wood, it blends naturally into the space. 2️⃣ It’s Tall Enough My child is 89cm tall, and the sink height is 91cm. Even though the sink was made quite high, it is tall enough to use in the kitchen. It would be even more sufficient height for a typical kitchen! 3️⃣ High Versatility It can be used not only in the kitchen but also when turning fluorescent lights on and off, at the bathroom sink, or as a shoe bench. 4️⃣ Uncompromising Stability I usually really like IKEA and Daiso, but... Since this is a product directly related to safety as my child climbs up and down, items that only have the wood pattern but are actually MDF tend to slide around too easily. Dawon Montessori's domestic solid wood is different. The footrests are wider than those of other companies' step stools, making it stable. I also loved the rounded finishing details. 5️⃣ Thoughtful Handle A handle that allows the child to retrieve it on their own, and makes it easy for Mom to move. Instead of saying "Pull me up!", there are now more moments where they bring it over and climb on it themselves. 6️⃣ Easy Maintenance Baby items need to be easy to maintain, right? Because it is made of HPL material that can be wiped clean with a wet tissue, there is less burden in managing everyday stains. Another advantage is that it can be used for a long time, from around age two until they graduate from the learning tower! 📌 Personally, I recommend starting use around the age of two, when the child can climb up and down stably on their own. When they are younger than that, whether it is a running tower or a step stool, parents often still need to supervise them. So, rather than letting them climb up and down precariously in the kitchen, I think it is better to choose based on their gross motor skills and cognitive development. 📌 And the important price! While children's wooden furniture often costs well over 100,000 won, this step stool is in the 40,000 won range💕 Come visit my Instagram to take a look! . . #StepStool {0 #ParentingItemsGroupBuy} {1 #Montessori} {2 #MontessoriParenting} {3 #StepStool} {4 #SmartSpending} {5 #CornSoupRecordBook} {6 #CornSoupRecord}
