Since we don't have many shoes, we only installed a cabinet on one side of the entryway. We use one side as a shoe cabinet and the other as a storage cabinet for household items. By separating the uses, we can keep shoes and daily necessities neatly organized. Instead of filling the opposite side with cabinets, we created a hanging bench to leave the space open. It is convenient to sit down to put on shoes when going out, and having the cabinets on only one side prevents the entryway from feeling cramped. The key is to ensure sufficient storage for the entryway while minimizing unused storage.
