I spent a really long time deliberating on this dining table. There were so many wonderful options, but I had to really think hard about it when moving into this house. Considering the size of the living room, it was only big enough for a two-person table. However, since my husband and I talk, eat, and drink a lot at the table, and we have many friends over, we needed a large table. After agonizing over it for a few months, I found this table! It’s sturdy, pretty, and simple!!! Most of all, I loved that the legs are pillar-shaped and located only in the middle. If the legs were on the edges, people would trip over them, causing discomfort when many people are seated, and you couldn't fit many chairs, so I felt it was essential to have the pillars in the middle. Also, when you sit down and rest your feet on the pillars, it feels incredibly stable. I got the chairs a few months after purchasing the table, and matching them to the legs makes for a nice unified look, haha. I wanted to replace all the chairs, but since black stools are my cat's favorite... I only bought two! It’s great value for money, sturdy, and best of all, you can detach just the seat cushions to wash them!!! I bought it because of that. Whenever friends come over, I move the dining table away from the wall to add more chairs. It’s a hugely satisfying staple item.
