#2026디자인어워드 A Small Ryokan in the City Center, a Space Different by Day and Night When renovating this old space, my top priority was creating a place where the time spent there would be memorable, rather than just a pretty space. The interior is based on wood and ivory, with red and charcoal furniture used as accents. By adding Hanji lamps, Oriental objects, and fabrics one by one, I wanted to create a calm yet warm atmosphere reminiscent of a small Japanese ryokan. Instead of filling the space with too much furniture and decor, I left ample empty space, decorating it so that the materials and colors would catch the eye one by one. It is a space I particularly love because the textures of the wood and fabrics are more visible during the day when the sunlight streams in :) And the part of this space I put the most effort into is the private rooftop terrace. I designed it so that you can relax comfortably under the sunlight during the day, and turn on the lighting and projector after sunset to use it like a small outdoor movie theater. We designed a space where you can sit or lie down on a large platform to watch movies, and added canopies and fabrics to create the feeling of being on a brief getaway right in the middle of the city. A quiet space bathed in sunlight during the day, and our own little outdoor movie theater at night. Although it is not a large space, we completed it with the hope that it would change its atmosphere and function over time, creating at least one memorable moment for those staying here. #RooftopTerrace #옥상인테리어 #숙소인테리어 #테라스꾸미기 #테라스꾸미기 #숙소
