This is a review based on my personal experience using and styling the product, which was provided through the #오감리뷰 program. I believe that for kitchen tools used daily, functionality is important, but a design that you won't get tired of even after looking at it for a long time is equally crucial. The Heriter Essence kitchen scissors I tried this time met those criteria perfectly! The curved flow of the Essence kitchen scissors is said to have been inspired by the strokes of Korean handwriting. They say the rhythm of Hangeul, where straight lines and curves naturally connect, has been captured in the inner curves of the handle and the outer lines; perhaps that is why, even though they are kitchen scissors, they felt quite sculptural 🤍 A design that makes them feel like ordinary scissors (?) Perhaps thanks to that, they also feel like they fit perfectly in my hand! For this review, I tried cutting a soft egg with the scissors. Usually, cutting a soft egg incorrectly can look strange, but the cross-section was cut cleanly, just like with a knife. Besides that, it cuts hard things like green onions and asparagus really well too haha. I liked that it is a ‘detachable stainless steel scissors’ designed based on the repetitive cutting motions used in Korean cooking environments, so you can separate it for cleaning after use. I was also satisfied with its practicality, as it incorporates cutting power, hygiene, reduced fatigue during use, and ease of cleaning all within a single structure. Above all, I love that Heriter products aren't just kitchen tools that emphasize function; they also have really pretty designs. Since it is an item you take out every day, if you are looking for a product that combines both function and design, these are kitchen scissors that you will likely reach for for a long time. It cuts meat and hard ingredients really well!! I am so satisfied with these scissors 🤤🤍
