How did you all decorate that awkward space left all alone in a corner of your living room? Leaving it just empty feels a bit bare and empty, so I'm considering getting a floor lamp that won't take up much space but will completely change the atmosphere. I've been adding and removing items from my cart for days and have narrowed it down to three candidates, but I desperately need recommendations from interior design experts! 🥹 Candidate 1. Classic & Simple Minimal Lamp It features a thin column topped with a neat square shade. It fits right into narrow corners, so it takes up less space, and I think it would blend in most seamlessly with my home's white wood tones, but I'm a little hesitant because I'm worried it might look too plain. Candidate 2. Trendy Wave Object Lamp With its bumpy, vertical wave design, I think it would make a great interior accessory even during the day when the light isn't on! I'm drawn to it because it seems like it would be a definite focal point for my plain living room, but I'm worried it might go out of style or I might get tired of it later. Candidate 3. Large, Sentimental Arch-Shaped Light The dream fishing rod-style light that hangs long down the center of the living room! It seems like it would stylishly fill the space, but I'm hesitant because I worry that if I place it in an awkward empty spot, its sheer size might make the room look cramped or obstruct the flow of movement. I'm really torn between prioritizing practicality and a clean look, or going for a bold accent with an object.
