#2026디자인어워드 #텍스쳐 ‘Texture CH8 Chair’ Introducing the Texture CH8 Chair, which blends naturally with the natural wood mood of my home! 🪑 When choosing furniture, I prefer products where the design doesn't stand out too much but blends naturally into the space, yet has distinct details when viewed closely. The CH8 Chair gave off exactly that vibe! In particular, the warm texture of the wood material and the smoothly flowing curves of the frame are truly beautiful. The overall design is simple, but the silhouette created by each individual line prevents the space from looking bland when placed around the dining table, serving as a subtle focal point. The design story was also intriguing; it was inspired by Mark Rothko's 1950 untitled work, expanding a 2D painting into a 3D space. I think there is a reason why it feels more like a sculpture within the space than just a simple chair. Above all, I was proud to hear that this product even won the 2026 Today's House Design Award (??), but after actually having it in my home and living with it, I think I understand why designs become more attractive the longer you look at them!! It is a chair that adds warmth to a natural wood space while also serving as a design focal point.
