Our living room with a bookshelf instead of a TV 📚 Since we have children, we use the living room like a study. Instead of bringing in a lot of large furniture, I tried using a bookshelf to achieve both storage and atmosphere. This bookshelf, in particular, has a nice pop of color, so it feels like it stands out as a focal point in the space even amidst the countless children's books 🤍 Adding a checkered rug to match the bookshelf's color made the living room feel even cozier.
