This is a review based on my personal experience using and styling the product, which was provided through the #오감리뷰 program. I'm not the only one who gets those small nail marks or torn wallpaper from hanging wall decorations or picture frames, right? 😅 Lately, I felt it was too overwhelming to blindly add large paintings or massive objects just to cover them up, yet hanging a wall lamp with a design that was too cliché left something to be desired. So this time, instead of filling the space with heavy elements, I decided to change the atmosphere of the wall using light and shadow. That is how I came across Radiroom's FOLD: PAGE Wall Lamp. When I first encountered the product, it took the form of a single, very thin, flat steel plate, so I found it quite refreshing to wonder, "How can this become a three-dimensional light?" It is designed to be slowly folded up by hand along the precisely cut lines on the cold, flat steel. The process of the thin steel plate blossoming into an intricate three-dimensional light through my touch was a much more fun and unique experience than I had expected. It feels quite different from simply receiving and using a finished light fixture. What appealed to me most was that it is an "interactive object" where I personally fold and shape it to complete the silhouette of light. However, the real charm begins the very moment you finish folding it yourself. The shape of the light and shadows cast on the wall changes depending on the angle at which the steel is folded and the direction in which it is placed. Even though it is the same light, the atmosphere shifts slightly depending on where and how it is positioned; it felt like it was creating a small scene on the wall, going beyond the function of simply illuminating it. In particular, as soft light is added to the cold steel material, it unexpectedly blended naturally into a wooden space, creating an exquisite and attractive contrast. On a desk wall filled with a modern, metallic aesthetic, it played the role of a stylish design object rather than just a light fixture. Moreover, although it is a wall light, it does not necessarily have to be fixed to the wall; simply placing it on a shelf or table makes it a stunning object. Since it acts as a modern and clean object during the day and as a light creating soft light and emotional shadows at night, I felt it was the perfect item that lies "somewhere between a light fixture and an object." Changing the texture of a space with just a soft light, without having to fill the wall with large paintings or install cliché wall lights. Just as one quietly folds a page of a precious moment they want to remember, this time I have folded a page of gentle light in my space. If you want to add a special focal point to an empty wall, create a page for your space with Radiroom FOLD : PAGE, which you can complete by folding it yourself.🩶 #Radiroom #라디룸조명 #폴드페이지벽조명 #LightingInterior #조명스타일릴 #쇠테리어 #MetalInteriorLighting #벽조명 #조명추천 #우리집조명자랑 #CornSoupRecord #오늘의우리집 #예쁜템최고야 #MyHomePhotoZone #우리집추구미 #인테리어노하우
