However, during the renovation, I was told that the sink I originally selected would be difficult to install due to the countertop size. The available products were types where the faucet was installed together with the sink. I wanted to install the faucet separately on the countertop, so I looked for other options and ended up choosing the sink I am currently using. Although the size is slightly smaller, I liked it because it is deep and features a matte stainless steel finish without any embossing. It is sufficient on days with a light load of dishes, and since I use a dishwasher when there is a lot, I haven't experienced any inconvenience due to the size so far. While minor scratches do appear with use, I don't mind them much because of the matte finish, and since it is smaller, it is actually easier to clean. I was disappointed and flustered that I couldn't use the product I originally selected during the renovation, but ultimately, I like the current sink even more. After going through this experience, I realized that in remodeling, rather than sticking to your initial choice until the end, it is important to first determine what you do not want to give up and then look for alternatives within that framework.
