Since opening the store, I have spent most of my day there, so I don't think I had the leisure to look slowly into this house where I have spent the most time. Thankfully, I was selected as a Special Creator for Today's House this year, and I also received special merchandise created in collaboration with LIB as a gift. The story behind these goods is ‘MY SPECIAL ARCHIVE.’ It means that the time and memories spent keeping things close by every day accumulate to eventually become a record that is most authentically me. As I took them out one by one and placed them around the house, and picked up my camera to photograph the home for the first time in a while, a thought suddenly occurred to me. I realized that I had been so preoccupied with creating and filling new spaces that I had somewhat forgotten about this place I originally loved. Come to think of it, the time I spent selecting items, rearranging the space, and taking photos in this house might be the oldest archive that has shaped who I am today. So now, I intend to cherish my home just as much as I cherish my shop.
