I was planning to just live with the Bamti distribution box, but the carpenter saved it! 🪵 💡 Why did I build a partition wall? ▸ I needed to move the switch on the opposite side to that wall, but breaking through the concrete wall to relocate the wiring would have been too expensive for the electrical work. Building a partition wall solved the problem much more simply. ▸ Since we plan to go moldless in the common areas, building the partition wall also made the wall surface look much neater.ᐟ 📍 Good things to check together ▸ The gas alarm was removed after the city gas line was completely shut down and the power was disconnected. ▸ Make sure to leave the distribution box open so that it can be inspected later.ᐟ In my house, it is a bit of a hassle because I have to lift it slightly with a screwdriver. 🥲 If you want to make it easier to open, consider hinged types or a separate distribution box cover. Still, these are great tips that elevate the details if you take them into account. If you are planning an interior renovation, save this and use it as a reference.. ♡
