This is a review based on my personal experience using and styling the product, which was provided through the #오감리뷰 Selection Program. What is the most frequently used kitchen tool? I think it is the cutting board! You always have to take it out when slicing or cooking. That’s why you naturally want a cutting board that is both pretty and practical. I’d like to introduce the [Kitchen Malling] 'Korean-made Half Moon All-Stainless Cutting Board Fit' that I tried this time, as I liked it so much. The first thing that catches your eye is its simple and sophisticated design. Most stainless steel cutting boards are square, but the 'Half Moon All-Stainless Cutting Board Fit' has a round shape like the moon, and when viewed from the front, the symmetrical curves fall cleanly without any distortion. Even if you just place it on the sink countertop without doing anything else, it looks like a piece of interior decor in itself, which is really pretty. Furthermore, since it is made of solid stainless steel, it is molded as a single piece without welding or seams, and the corners are even rounded. Therefore, there are no sharp edges at all, so there is no need to worry about getting hurt. (Plus, it’s solid stainless steel—POSCO Stainless 304—and domestically produced, so you can feel even more at ease!! The coating doesn't peel off even when scrubbed with a steel wool pad, and you can verify the certificate confirming the absence of heavy metals, so even households with babies can use it with peace of mind.) I was worried it might slip because of its round shape and small size, but it has a ledge on the back for support, so once you hang it firmly on the sink, it feels stable and won't slide even if you push it with your hand. I found it practical because I could flip it over and use it against the opposite wall without it sliding. I also have another stainless steel cutting board, and I wasn't very impressed with the feel of cutting on that one, so I was a bit concerned. However, since it is 1.2T thick and sturdy, there is no wobbling when cutting vegetables or meat, and the feeling of metal clashing is reduced, and the blade doesn't slip. But because it isn't too thick or heavy, the process of placing it on the countertop to prepare ingredients and sweeping scraps into the sink, or even lifting the board directly into the pot, proceeds smoothly, making it feel like cooking time is shortened! It isn't heavy after use (as you can see in the photo, it weighs about the same as a main dish), so it's easy to clean and dries quickly, making it very hygienic. It doesn't stain or absorb odors, isn't heavy, and has a stable shape, so these days I only use the 'Half Moon All-Stainless Cutting Board Fit'. The packaging is also neat in a box, making it perfect for gifting. If only I had known about the 'Half Moon All-Stainless Cutting Board Fit' sooner, I would have loved to give it as a housewarming gift to the family I recently visited who has a baby eating solid foods.
