#InteriorDecor #FocusGroup Lighting is really important for interior design, isn't it? I have a few lights in my house, and among them, there is one that serves as a focal point. It is the glass block light. I was obsessed with glass blocks even before I moved in, so I really wanted to incorporate them into my interior. So, I came up with the idea of making a glass block light myself. Receiving the glass blocks was a struggle right from the start. They are incredibly heavy, and they always arrive broken somewhere. It wasn't just one or two broken corners, but I repaired them by gluing them together with clear silicone. You know, they are very heavy. Since I attached four pieces to one side, it was so heavy that it was difficult to even lift. Since I was going to attach it to the wall near the electrical outlet anyway, I only made three sides out of the six. I bonded the glass pieces together with clear silicone and let them dry for a day. For the very top, I ordered a separate acrylic plate to make it convenient to insert and remove the light, so I simply placed it on top. The light I put inside is a USB-type light that I received as a gift; it was designed to hold a diffuser on top. Since the diffuser was all used up, it felt like a waste to throw it away. So I decided to use it as a light, and placing it inside the glass block made the light spread out in all directions, which was just incredibly beautiful. I remember being very satisfied when I turned on the light for the first time after finishing it, as it turned out much prettier than I had imagined. This glass block light, which serves as a focal point for my home's nighttime interior, is an item I hold in special affection because it bears my personal touch. #HomeDecor #HomeStagram #OldApartmentInterior #OldApartment #Remodeling #30PyeongInterior #RemodelingReview #InteriorKnowHow #WhiteInterior #ColorInterior #LivingInterior #TurnkeyInterior #BlackAndWhiteInterior #WoodInterior #GlassBlocks #GlassBlockInterior #GlassBlockLighting #GlassBlockDIY
