#리모델링하다생긴일 On moving day, my husband got stuck in the middle door. It was a moving day that was 34 degrees Celsius 🥵 It was the day we moved in, right after the interior work was finished. Although it was heavy, the middle door usually opened and closed well. But when my husband went out for a moment and came back in, "Suddenly, the door wouldn't open." Pulling, pushing, lifting and pushing... Seriously, no matter what we did, it wouldn't open 🥹 It was late (10 PM) I was wondering what to do, so I contacted the interior contractor. The middle door contractor called right away. He said he would come and take a look tomorrow and assured me it wouldn't break. He told me to just try opening the door by applying as much force as possible for now. ;;; No matter how tempered glass it is, glass is still glass, right? I was so scared that he might get hurt if it broke, but they told me it wouldn't break, and that they would take responsibility if it did... My husband struggled for 20 minutes in the 34-35 degree heat, groaning and wrestling with it. He opened it with all his might, thinking it was his last chance, and then *BANG!!!!* It made a sound like the door was shattering, and it opened twisting open... I seriously thought my husband was going to get heatstroke 🥹... He was completely drenched in sweat... The next day, the owner of the interior door company came to check it out. He said that due to the weight of the large door plus the fact that the leveling had collapsed, it seemed there had been a problem from the very beginning of the installation;;; (But they didn't even offer a single word of apology...) Thinking about it now, I wonder if it was a relief that it was my husband who did it ㅠㅠㅠ We have children in the house, and if they had been trapped inside, I don't think I would have dared to open that door by myself. The more I think about it, the more I shudder...
