✅ Collection of Recommended Items for the Camino de Santiago 🧦🧳🥾 (Purchased with my own money) 10 items I found truly useful after completing the pilgrimage! 1️⃣ Hiking Poles ▫️ Decathlon Foclaz MT100 ▫️ Purchased at Decathlon in San Sebastián, Spain (€5.99 each) ▫️ An essential item for uphill and downhill climbs—so much so that I exclaimed "What would I have done without these poles?" multiple times! 2️⃣ Injinji Socks ▫️ A national favorite among Korean pilgrims ▫️ Alternately wear two performance sets that include toe liners and trailers (Completed the ride safely without any blister issues!) ❗️ Since ‘Koreans = Injinji Socks,’ be careful not to mix your socks when bringing dry laundry. ❗️ Even with Injinji socks, you can still get blisters if you walk too hard (I have seen quite a few people who got blisters after walking over 30km while wearing Injinji). 3️⃣ Naturehike Lightweight Sleeping Bag ▫️ The next national favorite after Injinji (known as the Nonghyup sleeping bag) ▫️ Lightweight at 700g for medium and 800g for large, and compresses well. ❗️ Unlike standard dormitories, albergues often lack heating or do not provide bedding, so I highly recommend bringing a sleeping bag! 4️⃣ Mini Headlamp (Cremore Cap-on 40B Headlamp) ▫️ You may have to depart at dawn one or two times due to the schedule. ▫️ The road becomes dark immediately after leaving the village, so it can be dangerous; if you do not have a lantern, be sure to accompany a pilgrim who does! 5️⃣ Crocs (Slippers) ▫️ Useful for staying in accommodation or for short outings. 6️⃣ Poncho ▫️ I bought and used a ‘Karnic Outdoor Poncho,’ but it is useless when it rains heavily… (Later, the waterproofing function wore off, and I got soaked). In any case, a poncho is essential instead of an umbrella! 7️⃣ Hat & Sunscreen ▫️ The intense sun beating down even in autumn. A hat is essential for the flat sections as there is no shade (Muji waterproof safari hat) ▫️Recommended: Cellfusion C sunscreen (Carry a 25ml sample to reduce weight) 8️⃣ All-in-One Body Shampoo ▫️Reduce weight with an all-in-one product ▫️Recommended: ‘The Body Shop Boost Uplifting Pump’ purchased in Spain (Compact, smells good, and has a pump locking mechanism, so there is little risk of leakage) 9️⃣ Lock and Wire ▫️TSA Lock & Wire Set ▫️It is good to bring at least one lock to prevent theft (Some albergues provide lockers, but you must bring your own lock) ▫️I bought the wire to prevent backpack theft during my trip to Europe, but it was also useful as it could be used as a clothesline 🔟 Sports Towel ▫️Make sure to buy one made of a material that dries quickly ❗️My first purchase: Ultra-mini, ultra-lightweight ‘Naturehike Quick Drying’ Towels are not recommended. 🍯 Other Tips ▫️ Wear fast-drying functional underwear or t-shirts! (Andar products recommended) ▫️ Korean taping is better (Spanish products are of poor quality) ▫️ Buy Vaseline locally and apply it generously to your toes to prevent blisters. ▫️ Most albergues do not have hair dryers. I air-dried my hair since it was short, but if you have long hair or absolutely need to dry it, I recommend bringing a mini hair dryer. #BobusangTravelItems #여행아이템 #여행준비물 #여행 #산티아고순례길 #여행필수템
