After rearranging the study room slightly, the IKEA Hüllis, which had been sitting neglected on the veranda, was finally given a proper spot and purpose. It took a whopping nine months since we moved in. The IKEA Hüllis is a peculiar item that I find myself repeatedly buying, selling, and bringing back. However, since the vertically long size has been discontinued, I hesitated because I thought it would be difficult to bring it back once I sold it. Before I knew it, nine months had passed. There were several proposals for changing the desk layout, but my husband rejected every option where we sat with our backs to each other. We finally reached a dramatic compromise: a layout where my husband could see my back. From reading chairs and lighting to laptop side tables and bookshelves, IKEA has ended up taking up over 80% of my study room...
