Since it takes me a long time to adapt to new environments, I feel more at ease the longer I use the furniture I have. That is why, for me, changing furniture is something that requires a really big commitment. Perhaps that is why I feel more comfortable with furniture I made myself, even if it’s a bit clumsy, than with new furniture I bring in. As for this book trolley, I made it back in the very early days of decorating my home, when I knew absolutely nothing. I saw a book trolley somewhere that was so pretty, so I took a picture of it, and I begged my husband to let me have it—I barely managed to get this item.
