A Small Space Where I Briefly Stay as Myself The small vanity next to the bed is one of the spaces in my home that feels most like me. When I spend my days as a mom taking care of my children, I find that I don't actually have much time to look into myself. Here, I prepare for the day in the morning, and in the evening, as I wrap up the day, I stay here for a brief moment as my complete self, not just as a mom. From my favorite wood tones and small lighting to the floral rug and the items I use every day. It is a small spot created as my tastes accumulated, one by one. It isn't big, but perhaps that is why it feels even more like me.
