I sometimes have thoughts like this. Was I always this kind of person? Or was I made little by little as I recorded the moments I cherished, one by one...? 😅 Back when I first started uploading my daily life to YouTube six years ago, I thought I would live as an office worker for the rest of my life. I was always pressed for time, and I was clumsy at housekeeping. But as I continued to record, before I knew it, I became a full-time creator, ran my own brand, and even started hearing people around me call me a "housekeeping expert." Haha. So, the version of me in my videos now isn't someone who was already complete from the start, but rather someone who has taken one step closer to the life I have long dreamed of and wished for. Actually, I had a lot of work scheduled for the second half of this year, so I debated whether to continue my activities as a Today's House Special Creator. However, I didn't want to miss out on the inspiration I gain from high-quality content, the joy of learning in new classes, and the happiness of meeting people who love spaces and documentation. And so, it is Heydoo, back again for the second half of 2026. 🥹 The message for this season is ‘MY SPECIAL ARCHIVE.’ It tells the story of how, rather than following others, if you collect things you like, objects you want to cherish for a long time, and moments that are most authentically you, one by one, a special archive that resembles you will be completed before you know it. Thinking about it, my life over the past six years has been exactly like that. The brand that started my activities with me is LIB. It is a brand that adds leisure and sensibility to a busy daily life with analog products that require a little more sense and time than digital ones. It really resonated with the ‘slow, healthy, and authentic life’ that I aspire to. I unboxed a delightful gift for the first time in a while and placed the vase, incense holder, and desk calendar throughout the house. I don't tend to keep a lot of small decorative items, but since they are all simple yet practical objects, they blended into the space effortlessly. It feels like the atmosphere of the house has changed slightly just by changing a few small items! Haha. I'm still looking for the perfect spot for the mirror shelf, so I've gently leaned it against the back of a magazine. 😂 In the second half of this year, I plan to record the things I love and moments that are true to myself a little more slowly and for a longer time. I believe that these small records, accumulated in this way, will eventually shape the direction of the life I want and that is true to myself.
