Senior plant caretakers, please help me!! 🪴 I’ve had this coffee tree for nearly two years now, but as someone who kills plants easily, I’m worried it might die again 🥹 It was so hot this summer that the large, old leaves at the bottom drooped, so I’ve been paying extra attention to watering it 🚿 and even gave it some fan air 🌀 But the tips of the leaves started changing color, so after much deliberation, I cut off the heavy leaves at the bottom. ✂️🍂 I felt so relieved, but just when I thought the leaves at the top were okay, they started drooping again. So I kept cutting them off, and now (I don't have a picture, but) two out of the three stems have absolutely no leaves left 😢 Seriously, when I first got the coffee tree, I was told it was a plant that lives in Africa and is resistant to sunlight, but the young leaves at the top looked like they were burning up, so I cut them all off.
