It is really reassuring to buy a large quantity of meat when it is on sale, portion it out, and freeze it for later use. I tried storing shabu-shabu meat in Ziploc bags, but it became dry and the texture deteriorated. So, for the frozen pork belly and bulgogi meat I bought this time, I used a vacuum sealer to portion them out for freezing. If you move them to the refrigerator the day before to thaw, you can cook them conveniently.
