Before, I used to buy everything myself, starting with the flour, but since MUJI had a songpyeon making kit, I bought it to try, and it was simple and good. My husband doesn't eat much anyway. There are 4 colors, and you get about 3 pieces of each, for a total of about 12^^ It even includes sesame seeds. Haha, this is the first time I've made them with shapes like this, but I'm quite satisfied. The taste isn't bad either. I think it's a good option if you just want to try making something simple with the kids or simply enjoy the atmosphere. Of course, if you plan to serve it on a table and make a large batch, it's better to buy the rice flour and other ingredients yourself. My husband says it's perfect for his taste and is even better than store-bought stuff. My electric kettle has a built-in thermometer, so it was easier to get the temperature right. You just need to knead it at around 60 degrees Celsius, but I also checked it with a Pekoe thermometer. I bought that thermometer from Ozip as well. I do wish there were more colors available, but making it at home is definitely a smart purchase, right? ^^ I'll definitely have to try making a wider variety of colors later.
