This is a review based on my personal experience using and styling the product, which was provided through the #오감리뷰 Selection Program. The most basic things are beautiful, yet they are not easy to achieve. Artist Kim Min-jeong of Solsol Pureunsol accomplishes just that. White matte ceramic plates are quite common, you know. The plate I tried through the Ogam Review program is the Pure Series, which is perfect in shape, color, and weight. It is the Pure Matte Basic Plate in size S from that series; you can consider the width to be 16 centimeters. Its clean design makes it suitable for everything from Western and Korean cuisine to fruit and desserts, even when placed just on its own. It also blends well with other striking plates or cups, completing a perfect dining table or "on the table." The Pure Series uses a pure white matte glaze to express a texture as soft as Hanji (Korean traditional paper), creating tableware that exudes subtle luxury. If you purchase a complete Korean tableware set, including the basic plate set, I think it will become tableware that is loved and cherished for generations, from newlyweds to the elderly. However, since it is ceramic, oven use is not possible. It is microwave and dishwasher safe, so it offers convenience as well.
