#연휴에뭐하집 What am I doing during the holidays, you ask? I started the 'Kimchi Factory' 🥬✨ I really planned to rest quietly and relax this holiday, you know? 🫠 But then I went grocery shopping at the supermarket before the holidays... and the cabbage on sale looked so fresh and substantial that, before I knew it, I was possessed and just put it in my cart 🛒 On top of that, coincidentally, scallions, chives, and radishes were also on sale! 'This is truly fate!' And so, I returned home with a very generous amount of kimchi ingredients in my arms 🤭 I’m going to share my record of a fulfilling holiday, completed by busily moving around in the kitchen all day long for two days 📝 ▪️ Day 1: Day of Preparation. As soon as I bought them, I meticulously trimmed the fresh scallions and chives, washed them thoroughly, and drained the water 🌿 (They say the beginning is half the battle, and you have no idea how lighthearted I feel once this is done 😉) ▪️ Day 2: Salting the Cabbage & Quickly Making the Seasoning. I carefully salted the cabbage until it was ready to eat, and while it was salting, I whipped up a spicy and delicious kimchi seasoning sauce 🔥 ▪️ An Unexpected Big Twist (The Birth of Radish Kimchi 🧊): While making the seasoning, I realized there was quite a generous amount left over, more than I thought? 😅 I couldn't just let this delicious seasoning go to waste! I hurriedly sliced up a few radishes and added them in, mixing everything together to make crunchy, refreshing cubed radish kimchi. 🤍 And just like that, I finished one and a half containers of napa cabbage kimchi and a hearty container of cubed radish kimchi. ✌️ My body feels a bit stiff, but looking at the refrigerator filled with kimchi containers makes me feel completely full. 🤎 I guess this is why I keep starting kitchen projects without even realizing how tiring it is. 🪄 #HolidayLife #김치담그기 #배추김치 #깍두기 #김장일기 #주부일상 #살림기록 #홈쿡스타그램 #주부스타그램 #살림노하우 #소확행 #냉장고채우기
