It was a big deal, though. ㅠㅠ There was such a loud noise that both my husband and I jumped out of bed. It really made us lose all our sleep... At first, I kept wondering what it was, but I couldn't find it right away. When I looked, thankfully, the kitchen cabinet was perfectly fine. The repair costs could have been much higher, but seeing that there isn't a single trace of damage, I guess tempered glass really is good. It lives up to its price. As for the wooden floor... ㅠㅠ there are some dents from the dishes, but since it's in a hard-to-see area, I'm just going to turn a blind eye to it... There are some items where I managed to salvage just the lids, and others where the back part was chipped off, so I just left them as they are... I'm planning to use them as candle holders. Why call this interior design know-how?! Well, actually, I used this really well, but it seems there was a problem with the wheels. It looks fine from the outside, but even after removing all the items, it doesn't balance. So, in the end, we removed the wheels and, since we plan to use it as a fixed fixture, we placed playing cards underneath to balance it. Still, just in case, we put bottled water at the very bottom and filled it only with items that won't break. Check it regularly. The wheels are convenient, but don't get too complacent like I did. The real interior design know-how is to put heavy items on the bottom and light items on top to prevent breakage. I wasted so much time cleaning up frantically since this morning ㅠㅠ but I'm posting this anyway. Also, let's use our dishes without being stingy. You might regret it later. I had a Doraemon plate that I hadn't used many times and some dishes I bought in Japan ㅠㅠ It makes me sad. I put the remaining ones that survived back in the dish cabinet. Don't be complacent just because it looks sturdy when you first see it. The One Piece Chopper picture frame broke, but thankfully the puzzle remained intact haha. My husband fixed it with glue, so we just left it like that for now. Now that it's over, I'm just relieved that no one got hurt, that the pieces didn't shatter completely, and that the kitchen cabinet blocked the view, preventing a bigger disaster. There was no TV in front of it, but I don't even want to imagine what it would have been like~ They say I have good luck in October; could this be a way to ward off bad luck? ^^ Fortunately, there weren't too many broken dishes, so I'm trying to stay positive. Have a happy day, my dear friends~ I am checking the comments, but I'm just visiting your blogs little by little. I've been doing a bit on my phone lately. I'll visit your blogs slowly~ It's raining in Daegu today. It looks like it might stop. Please take care not to catch a cold.
