Try cleaning your coffee machine first ☕ Even if the outside of the coffee machine you brew every day looks clean, limescale builds up in the pipes inside. If one day your coffee doesn't taste the same as before, it could be a sign that it's time to clean it. I captured the cleaning process using a Jennifer Room coffee machine in this video. 1. Cleaning the Pipes with Citric Acid Dissolve citric acid in lukewarm water, pour it into the water tank, and run the machine in cleaning mode. This process dissolves and flushes out the limescale inside the pipes. 2. Cleaning the Coffee Extractor Be sure to remove the filter, rinse it under running water, and gently scrub it with a brush to remove coffee grease. Please be sure to check your machine's manual for the amount of citric acid and cleaning method before following it.
