It has been 14 years since I moved into this 31-year-old apartment, having only done the bare minimum and expanded the veranda. With talk of reconstruction circulating these days, structural changes are out of the question now, so I installed a slatted partition to separate the kitchen from the living room. When it was completely open, the whole house looked cluttered and exposed in photos, but I really like how easily I was able to set up a partition wall without any construction to separate the space; it feels much more organized now.
