Bathroom interior design is tough when renting... Until recently, I only lived in newly built homes or houses that had already been renovated, so I was stressed at first trying to rent an older building. While brainstorming realistic alternatives, I ended up installing shelves in the bathroom at my own expense. There were absolutely no shelves there;; I installed straight and corner shelves made of artificial marble. (Since drilling tiles is difficult to do alone, I found an installer on Soomgo to handle it!) I felt it wasn't quite right to have just one corner shelf, so I installed a no-drilling corner shelf underneath it that allows for water drainage. Since I like soap, I also added a no-drilling soap dish. If you ask, "The tiles look pretty good for an older building?" They have a certain vintage charm, and I like them. They match the tone I'm aiming for well. I tried grouting it myself piece by piece, but mold started seeping into the grout lines, so now I'm scraping it off little by little and keeping it clean with bleach... ...Tearing it down is seriously hard. #DIYGroutPrecautions As for the bathroom door... it's such an old door that it had bulged, so I tried my best to paint it. I also applied a separate coating agent. #DIYPaintingPrecautions The bathroom light used to be a floral one too, lol. I replaced it with a domestic LED light at the lowest price on Coupang, haha. I hadn't cleaned it after replacing the light, so there was dust flying all over the mirror. (I asked a close acquaintance to install it for me, and they did it for me.🤣) There are also a lot of drill marks on the bathroom wall. Filling those up was a lot of work... Am I being too sensitive? The previous tenants just left those holes as they were. I had to wipe away the mold that had seeped inside one by one, and since mold spores spread, I let it dry thoroughly for a few days before filling them with silicone. (If you zoom in closely, you'll see there are seriously a lot of drill marks...) The mirror is starting to corrode too, so I'll have to think about it again. Oh, regarding bathroom storage other than towels, I solved that by placing a storage cabinet outside the bathroom! I plan to install items that match this house and leave them behind when I move out. I am currently living here by making changes to items that are reasonably priced and highly satisfying to me. Also, I think it is best to keep bathroom items under three colors to ensure a stable look, even in an #구축욕실. Oh, and I am sharing all these changes with the landlord. I am living here diligently, maintaining the space with the goal of continuing to live in this house. #BathroomDecor #셀프줄눈시공 #셀프시공주의사항 #구축사용설명서 #OvercomingOldModels #구축아파트 #체리몰딩 #전세집꾸미기 #전세집인테리어 #셀프페인팅
