쥬디의집콕가드닝's post

Appearing in almost every living room photo without fail, The resident guardian of our house and my absolute favorite prized possession #알로카시아비스마 😝 I'm posting this because there are often people asking how to grow it 🫶 ✅️ How to Grow Bisma ✔️ Soil Mix: I grow it by mixing 20% perlite into any potting soil. Like other plants, Alocasia, in particular, needs some potting soil to develop durability. (To be precise, it needs the boost from the microorganisms living in the soil to avoid becoming a sunfish 😂) ✔️ Nutrients: One spoonful of Osmocote once every 2-3 months. ✔️ Pot: Probably a size 34 terracotta pot. ✔️ Water: Water generously with a showerhead when the surface soil dries out 🚿 ✔️ Light: Natural light in front of the window. I grew Bisma almost entirely in natural light even when it was a seedling. ✔️ Humidity: Always practice. Since the leaves are thick, I do not recommend a greenhouse. 🚥The most important thing: Wind⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I don't play it safe; I just forcefully thrust it into the leaves. That way, the stems become sturdy and the roots spread vigorously. The roots need to take root firmly for the leaves to grow well. (Only for Bisma!! No strong winds for other aloes with thin leaves🤣) I don't think I do anything else besides that🤔 If you just grow it to a medium size with strong wind, practice, and natural light, it gets strong enough to survive almost on its own(?) afterwards. In that sense, everyone should try growing Bisma...🗣 It is such a beautiful and wonderful plant...🗣 It is the gentlest of all aloes...🗣 #Planterior #홈가드닝 #식집사성장기
