The Villeroy & Boch Manufacture L'Aq, which perfectly suits my preference for neutral colors, I picked it out on Today's House. Its natural texture, resembling the grain of stone, and the matte surface where light lingers softly are charming. Even though the design is neat, the surface has a distinct character, making it look even prettier the closer you look. When food is served on this deep black surface, the colors of the ingredients come alive vividly, and even a simple plate feels like it has been prepared with a little more care.
