Our Baby's Little Playground🌳 It has already been 50 days since our baby was born. Watching her grow day by day makes me feel proud and happy, but it also feels like time is flying by so fast. I feel a bit sad for no reason, and I want to capture every single moment. These days, I realize just how precious the three of us—my husband (who is on paternity leave), Chae-i, and I—are spending at home🍒 As she passes the newborn stage, her waking hours are gradually increasing. Now, we do tummy time, and I am completely immersed in the joy of bonding with Chae-i by responding to her babbling. So, this time, wanting to make Chae-i's playtime a little more fulfilling, I got a 'Baby Folding Screen & Water Mat'. Since she is only 50 days old, there aren't many games we can play yet, but I am trying them out one by one as Chae-i ages. ① Visual stimulation play while looking at pictures 👀 The baby folding screen I chose is a 6-panel set. It is not too bulky to spread out in Chae-i's room or a corner of the living room, and you can fold it or adjust the angle to fit the space. I was glad I chose the 6-level setting because it is adjustable. It consists of 11 themes and features both real images and illustrations, so I think it will be great to use for various play activities as the baby grows. Right now, we are showing the pictures at Chaei's eye level and explaining them one by one, and she is showing interest. ② Interacting with Mom and Dad while looking in the mirror 🪞 We are playing together while showing her the mirror on the folding screen, saying, “Our Chaei is right here~” She isn't at the stage where she recognizes her own reflection in the mirror yet, but the time spent looking at her face and talking to her like this is truly precious. ③ Practicing Tummy Time with a Water Mat 🐳 Tummy time, which Chaei has been practicing a little bit every day lately! We are spending tummy time lying on the water mat, watching the gently rippling water. She is still clumsy at holding her head up, so we are practicing briefly, but I think once she gets a little older, she will be able to press the surfaces with her hands and engage in tactile play.
