I had been using a motion desk for several years, but after moving to a smaller house, I worked standing up for a while with my monitor placed on a wall shelf, without a regular desk. So, when I moved to my new home, the first thing I really wanted to properly equip my study with was a height-adjustable desk. 🤍 The product I chose this time is the Pitcher Shatt Deco Motion Desk BS1. I selected the combination of a 1400×750mm natural beige tabletop and a white 2-step frame. The bright tabletop with Shatt Deco's wood pattern blends softly into my study, which is filled with white furniture and peripherals, so I really like the desk setup. Having used the 1600 size for a long time, I was worried that the 1400 might feel cramped, but even with a 35-inch monitor, keyboard, and speakers placed on it, there was actually plenty of workspace left over, more than I expected. I have saved the heights for sitting and standing work in advance, and I switch between them several times a day. It also features a Smart Desk alarm that can be set for up to two hours at 30-minute intervals, which is great because it encourages me to change my posture once in a while when working for a long time. Personally, I was particularly satisfied with the safety feature that stops immediately if it hits a chair or storage unit while lowering the height. Since I raise and lower the desk several times a day, I found this feature quite important in actual use. I also liked that the bottom cover concealing the motor and the MO1 power strip holder were included as standard. By neatly organizing the power strip and charger under the desk, only the essentials remain on the tabletop, making my study much tidier. :) It took about two hours to assemble, and since the final step of flipping the tabletop over and standing it up is heavy, I recommend having two people do it together if possible.
