My little kitchen update ▪️▪️▪️ I’ve been thinking about doing something to the kitchen for a while, but I thought the faded ivory vintage vibe wasn't bad, so I just left it as it was. However, for some reason, I suddenly got the urge to try something new, so I decorated it however I pleased. I separated the space by applying tile stickers only below the hood, and painted one section of the base cabinet black to create an oven-like feel. I really love how it turned out exactly as I envisioned. When my husband saw it for the first time, he asked if I had bought a dishwasher... I tried painting with the new black Peelable Paint from Noroo Paint; the color is vivid, and it peels off easily, so I won't have to worry about restoring it to its original state later. (Our house is military housing...) The tile stickers, which I cut and pasted only on the corners with the intention of peeling them off, looked three-dimensional and pretty. However, they were thinner than I expected, so the cut edges were slightly visible. If I were to do this again, I would attach them to PVC foam board. Since I succeeded in changing the atmosphere, I am satisfied for now!
