After much trial and error, I've created two small reading spaces in my bedroom to prevent it from becoming just another bedroom. One is a DIY American-style corner table. To extend the feel of the doll-filled shelf opposite it onto the wall, I've attached various trinkets and stuffed animals with thumbtacks, filling every gap. Next to the large Augusta plant, I placed a vintage easy chair and a DIY side table.
