It's fun to think about what to use antique items for. You can try using them in ways that go beyond the intended purpose when they were made, and sometimes they fit surprisingly well. Especially with boxes, it's so satisfying when you imagine what you can put in them and they're the perfect size. Large boxes give you a sense of security knowing you can put anything in them, and small boxes are great for sorting small items. Just putting small things in boxes makes everything neat and tidy.
